Quite an interesting experience than what I’ve had in the past…
While in town visiting family I decided to get my nails done and this was one of the only places that came to mind with work I could trust. Now, being that I haven’t had service here in 3+ years I’m sure things have changed but I wasn’t expecting them to change as much as they actually did.
For starters, the nail techs were rude in their actions and responses. For example, my mother was picking her color out of the basket (b/c the male tech she had asked her to start looking for her color) and this lady came over, NO QUESTION ASKED, just grabbed the basket and took it to her client. I was honestly about to cancel my appointment after that but I decided to express to her how rude that was and how you need to ASK before snatching something from a customer that isn’t even your client! Furthermore, if y’all are low on nail color pieces y’all need to make more so you’re not flustered by someone else browsing the color options.
Then my next issue was nail art pricing… they wanted to charge $5 for each finger for a swirl design that was ONE color. Maybe im unfamiliar with that but $50 EXTRA on top of the $55 for the full set is quite a bit much in my opinion for a simple swirl design. I can see if I wanted XL nails and bling or multi color but ultimately, I just ended up only going with these nude almond shaped nails and calling it a day…

Within a day of getting nails done with dip powder they started to chip mind you I had only been in bed. The lady who did them cut my natural nails to short after me telling her that it was to much off, I always get dip powder and this is the 1st time they have ever chipped after a day
I went for a pedicure and gel manicure with my sister and what a mistake. No base coat or topcoat on my toenails at all. When she went to start the gel polish on my hands she went straight to the color. I stopped her & asked about the base coat for the gel and she stated she forgot. So she started over. At the end there were 2 nails with lines going through them but I was honestly just done at that point and didn’t want to sit through her soaking them off. She tried to tell me it was my nails with the lines in them. ???? After only 4 days they started to lift off all around my cuticles. What a waste of $100! I won’t be back!
I currently live in Georgia but come home to Louisville often to visit family. Any time I have extra time I always go to PRO Nails to get my mani & pedi done! They’re so gentle and take their time to do my nails! I’m pleased every time. I’m still trying to find a nail salon in GA that’s as good as PRO Nails and have not had any luck. Every place I’ve gone to has filed my nails until they burned, rushed the service, and/or left my nails bumpy, crooked, and/or thick. I’ve never experienced any of these issues at PRO Nails. Also, they’re very friendly and offer a positive atmosphere!!

I got a full set here Saturday (7/17). On Monday, 2 of my nails had already fell off. I didn’t spend money and time here just for my nails to get messed up.
Been coming here regularly (every 2-3 weeks) since Oct. 2021. Never been disappointed with this salon. My nails always look great.
I think I just have think skin around my nails, but after the dip gets taken off and they use the little tool with the different attachments, I usually get a little spot on 1-3 fingers that bleeds. Probably not their fault, guess it's just my skin.

I usually love pro nails and Sam and Lynn are fantastic. I have a been going there faithfully for about a year now. I got my nails done about 4 days ago and one broke and another is cracked—I don’t do anything laborious so that is ridiculous. I called to schedule an appointment for a repair and was told I could just walk in. I asked to move forward with scheduling just in case. I walk in the shop 10 minutes late and Sam is already half way into someone else’s nails and his next appointment was already there. I was told they were pretty much booked for the evening and all of tomorrow morning. I told them I had plans to go out of town, but that apparently did not matter. I would never treat a faithful customer that way. So, unfortunately, I will not be going back. Good quality, poor service.
